"I found Jocelyn by way of Lacy Phillips’ podcast and I immediately felt a connection. Her story resonated so strongly with me. I thought about her for weeks and kept feeling this push to reach out. Once we moved into Scorpio season, I felt the transformation energy strong and went for it.

I set my intention for our session to be centered around clarity. Like many, I am calling in a loving partnership, a new job, and wanting to start my own business in wellness. Her message to me was simple and clear - “Stop dimming your light! You are an oracle, a mystic and you need to step into your power.” Ugh! I thought.

I was soooo resistant to this. Let’s be real, being that I am an empath, I knew this was my next step. I had felt it but I wasn’t able to articulate it. I felt scared to accept this about myself. What if people reject me? what if I’m not good enough? What if my mind is making it up? How am I able to just read cards with no prior 'experience'? What if my family disowns me? I was telling myself the same story that we all tell ourselves when we feel afraid, I can’t.

When we spoke about love, her message was again, clear, “be open” well duh! But no not duh. I had tunneled so deep in my thoughts of what the perfect partner looked like for me. Even down to his job. She said to me, “how can you want a partner who is an entrepreneur if you are not one yourself? And isn’t that something that you want for you?” My need for control was preventing the natural flow of the universe from happening. I was trying to control it because I wanted it to look a certain way or feel a certain way, but how can I know what it looks like, feels like if I've never seen or felt it? Again, let’s be real, when has anything ever gone the way I thought it should? LOL (Letting go of control has been one of my biggest challenges this year).

So, taking the actions she gave me from our session, I stepped into my true self, my gift, my light. I shared with my Instagram community my new found love for myself, how I am an empath, how I am meant to teach and heal with my gift. I finally chose to stop dimming my light. No joke, everyone was so supportive. Even people that I thought for sure would judge me, reached out in support. AND THEN, the. next. fucking. day!!! I met an incredible man, quite possibly my soul mate. My brain is still freaking out, haha poor girl. She just needs to catch up. Wild, because he was someone who was already in my life but I had written off. I thought no way it's him because we share the same birthday. Aires don’t like to share. I thought no way this will work, we’re too much alike, he’s too crazy whatever I told myself. (All things I had heard from previous partners in dating) But he kept asking to hang out, he was persistent. One night I even told him no to hanging out because I wanted to do my moon ritual. Without realizing it I was sharing my true self with him already and he was still interested in me. Huh? So, the day after my authentic post, he texted me asking again and with Jocelyn's voice in my head, “be an open girl” I said yes. It's wild when people say “you’ll know because it just flows'. It feels easy and seamless, THEY ARE RIGHT! That is it, that is real, that is what happened. It fucking happened to me!

I said yes to my authentic self, releasing the block, and then received my manifestation. Jocelyn's energy is so fiery and magnetic. That is what attracted me to her first. Being that I am an Aries myself I appreciate that; the, not beat around the bush attitude, the, give it to me straight attitude. She is that, a fearless empowering strong leader! Reflecting on the experience I remember being resistant to her advice because I knew she was right and I didn’t want her to be because I was afraid. She gave me the push I needed to jump off the cliff. The courage to say yes. She guided me in love to stand and say “Hello world, this is me, I am Sarah, I am an oracle, I am an empath, I am strong, fearless, unstoppable, and fucking worthy.” What a gift it’s been to meet her, to share, and most importantly to be supported and know that we are all in this together. Our goal is the same. To share love and light and be just that. I love her. I should also add that just yesterday at my job they finally gave me my own category to design separate from my boss. I have been asking for this for a year. I will manage it all, top to bottom! Even though I am calling in a bridge job, my life is still happening in the present moment and I am being tested in just that, being present.
